Manufacturing technology of products from textile household and polymer waste

Purpose: utilization of household textile waste and substandard waste of polypropylene burlap by manufacturing molded products (elements of fencing, formwork, pipe insulation; technological containers and containers; pallets; small architectural forms; compost containers; tiles for floors and for garden paths; drainage trays and wells ; hatches and covers)

Brief description: the technology includes combining strained textile waste and PP-burlap, plasticizing the composition in an extruder and pressing a product from a molten workpiece in a cooled tooling. The share of PP fibers – 50% wt., Density – 1.1-1.2 kg / cm3, bending strength – 29-33 MPa, cost of products – no more than US $ 1 / kg, economic efficiency in the production of 50 tons of products in year and more

Advantages in comparison with analogs: the ability to utilize mixed household textile waste with fibers of any nature, not suitable for processing by other methods; energy efficiency of the processes of plasticizing the composition and shaping of products, specific energy consumption – no more than 1 kWh per 1 kg of the product; competitiveness of products due to low cost and properties indicators comparable to those of large-scale production polymers; waste-free production and 100% recycling of product material after the end of operation; the greatest economic effect in enterprises engaged in the processing of household textile and polymer waste, as well as in municipal enterprises as the main source of raw materials and a potential consumer of manufactured products
