CLEAR OXIFLUORIDE GLASS CERAMICS
Description of the project: Transparent oxyfluoride glass-ceramics with PbF2 nanocrystals, activated by ions of rare-earth elements, is a highly efficient material for wide use in optoelectronics and laser technology: in three-color lamps and displays, infrared visualizers, to increase the efficiency of solar batteries, as multicolor phosphors and ap- conversion laser material.
Benefits: Effectively converts infrared laser light (~ 960 nm) to visible laser light with the desired color characteristics in line with the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram. Low temperatures of synthesis and heat treatment of glass ceramics make it possible to reduce energy consumption for its production.
