Analyzer of concentrations of carbon monoxide and ammonia in industrial gas emissions
Purpose: operational control of concentrations of toxic and explosive gas components in various places of technological installations (portable version); control of maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) in technological processes, gas utilization devices, technological rooms, etc.; control of predetermined and various thresholds of concentrations of the specified components
Specifications:
Index | Value |
Measurement range,% vol. | 0.1-2 |
Sensor response time, s | 3-5 |
Sensor recovery time, s | 30-40 |
Measurement error, % | ± 25 |
In cases where the process requires a decision to be made in less than 3-5 seconds, the device has an additional function – measuring the rate of change in the concentration of a component with a sampling rate of 0.1 sec.
Advantages: it can be used as an indicator of the presence of leaks of the specified components (portable version) and as a stationary device for recording MPC and preset concentration values
Development stage: models of analyzers in a portable version and in a stationary one, installed on the technological line panel, developed in the framework of scientific research
Scope: at chemical and food industries to control the content of emissions of explosive and toxic gases into the atmosphere; to monitor the progress of technological processes in which there is carbon monoxide and ammonia, as well as to monitor the leaks of these components at technological installations
Cooperation proposals: an agreement on research of technological processes with control of concentrations of these components and development of a technological process control system. Monitoring of hazardous and toxic gas emissions into the atmosphere
Significance: the possibility of using additional data to control and monitor the flow of technological processes using hazardous gas components; warning of emergencies at enterprises with explosive and toxic gases
