Modifiers for tires for tires
Purpose: to improve the adhesion of rubber to brass-plated cord and increase the physical and mechanical properties of tire rubbers
Brief description: modifiers are amidosalts of metals of variable valence (cobalt, nickel, manganese) and zinc, obtained on the basis of maleinized rosin. These are finely dispersed, light-colored (in the color of a metal cation) powders with high storage stability, good sprayability, and resistance to aggressive media.
Technical specifications:
Melting temperature, ºС, no more | 160.0 |
Mass fraction of metal,%, not less | 8.0 |
Mass fraction of volatile substances,%, no more | 2.5 |
Advantages over analogues:
– along with high adhesion properties, they improve the technological properties of rubber compounds and increase the physical and mechanical properties of rubbers, especially after heat aging
– cheaper in comparison with imported analogs
– environmentally friendly
Form of intellectual property protection: patent 12991 RB “Method for producing cobalt salt based on modified rosin”
Development stage: prototypes of tire modifiers
Applications: tire and rubber industry
