Application. The glass is designed to mitigate the effects of electromagnetic radiation of the microwave range. The glass finds application as ophthalmic lenses; as a protective glazing of special rooms; in the defense industry; as protective glasses used in microwave ovens. 
Advantages in comparison with analogues: 
Transparency in the visible range of the spectrum;  
Absorption of 70-80% microwave radiation in the ranges of8-11,3 and 26-35 GHz; 
Required dielectric permittivity and tangent of the dielectric loss angle;
