The Belarusian Institute for Systems Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sector (BelISA), a partner of the "Network of International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation with the Eastern Partnership Countries" (IncoNet EaP) in Belarus announces a competition for grants by Belarusian scientists to participate in the brokerage event Networking4Innovation in Bratislava (Slovakia), which will be held on November 30, 2016, and accompanying training.

About training: Regional Information and Scientific Development Centre (RCISD), Budapest (Hungary) as part of the energy Networking4Innovation brokerage event provides Horizon 2020 training for selected participants from Eastern Partnership countries. The training will take place on the eve of the brokerage event, November 29, 2016, the participation is free.

Requirements for the applicant:

  • Permanent employment in a research institution, university, or in a small and medium-sized business engaged in scientific activity;
  • Presenting a fully completed questionnaire and required documents;
  • PhD or at least 3 years of scientific experience (full-time);
  • Participation in research and development on the theme of the event – ENERGY AND RESYNEST ENERGY;
  • Good English language skills
  • Experience of international cooperation (existing contacts, contracts, projects, participation in international conferences, etc.);
  • commitment to participate in Horizon 2020 competitions.

Grants are not given to those scientists who have already received support in the form of a travel grant from the IncoNet EaP project in 2014-2016.

Funding is provided on a competitive basis.
