Seminar for potential applicants of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-Border Cooperation Program

On December 8, 2017, a seminar for potential applicants of the 2nd call for project proposals of the Latvia-Lithuania-Belarus Cross-Border Cooperation Program was held in Minsk, in which a representative of the International Information and Analytical Center for Technology Transfer of the Belarusian State Technological University took part.

During the seminar, general information about the 2nd Call for Proposals was presented, the process of developing a project proposal, the most common mistakes in the 1st Call for Proposals, issues of cost eligibility and necessary documentation for construction work, as well as other relevant topics were discussed, related to the preparation of project proposals.

The main thematic objectives of the 2nd Call for Proposals are to promote social inclusion and fight poverty, support good governance at the local and regional level, and support local culture and preservation of historical heritage.

Within the framework of these tasks, the priorities were determined: expanding access to social and other services for risk groups; stimulating employment through entrepreneurship and innovation; increasing the capacity of local and regional authorities to address common problems; strengthening of society; support and preservation of cultural and historical heritage and traditional crafts.
