ELECTROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY OF REVERSIBLE HYDROGEN ACCUMULATION BY ACTIVATED NANOCARBONAL MATERIALS IN ACIDIC AND ALKALINE MEDIA
Project description: Electrochemical activation of CNM for electrochemically reversible accumulation of hydrogen is carried out in aqueous alkaline and acidic electrolytes.
The maximum electrochemically reversible hydrogen sorption capacity of activated CNM in acidic and alkaline electrolytes reaches 0.9 wt%, the capacity recovery is more than 85%.
The developed technology can be used to create devices for electrochemically reversible hydrogen storage, production of effective sorbents, nanomodifiers for lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries.
Advantages: Electrochemical activation of various types of CNM allows to optimize electrocatalytic, hydrogen sorption, and capacitive properties, to increase the efficiency of their use many times over.
