MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR LOGGING MACHINES

Description of the project: mathematical models for logging machines (harvesters, forwarders, chippers, skidders of various types, etc.). The models have passed the procedure of validation of adequacy, industrial testing and are implemented in the form of software packages. The models are used to analyze the operational properties of forest machines (maneuverability, stability, cross-country ability, traction and adhesion properties, etc.), analyze the energy consumption of machines in the main and auxiliary operations of the technological cycle, assess their dynamic loading, as well as to obtain initial data for the subsequent analysis of strength and fatigue life of supporting structures.

Advantages: The proposed mathematical models have a high level of detail of the structures, the variability of their parameters and the accuracy of the results obtained.

The use of the developed models can significantly reduce the cost of experimental research.

Results achieved: Certain mathematical models have been introduced into production.
