EXPRESS METHODS FOR PREDICTION OF THE DURABILITY OF PRODUCTS FROM POLYMERS

Description of the project: Express methods for predicting the deformation and strength properties of films, fibers and coatings under conditions of exposure to energy fields and chemical reagents make it possible to determine the durability of polymer products operated in specific conditions, significantly reduce the time for assessing the durability of products without the use of expensive equipment.

Results achieved: Rapid methods for predicting the durability of plastic pipes, PVC profiles for windows and doors, tiles made of thermoplastic composites, polyurethane foam insulation, industrial rubber goods, etc. introduced into the system of certification tests of the Republic of Belarus (STB 1333.0-2002, STB 1333.1-2002, STB 1333.2-2002 and STB 1333.3-2004).
