The Biomedicine technical platform will prepare a list of joint projects and a roadmap for their implementation

The Eurasian Technological Platform (ETP) “Biomedicine” in early 2017 will submit for consideration to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) a number of joint innovative cooperation projects in the field of biomedical technologies.

In December 2016, a round table was held, organized by the EEC Industrial Policy Department and dedicated to cooperation in the field of biomedical technologies. The event was attended by representatives of the leading scientific and industrial organizations of the industry, as well as specialized universities of the EAEU states.

The meeting discussed issues of interaction between the technological platform, the EEC and coordinating organizations from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Deputy Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department Alexander Gotovsky informed the platform participants about the work of the Commission on the formation of mechanisms to support the implementation of specialized projects.

“We are faced with a very specific task to determine the list of joint projects and a plan of measures for their implementation,” summed up Alexander Gotovsky.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to prepare the list of joint projects and the corresponding “road map” by the ETP participants. They also discussed the preparation and organization by the Commission and the Eurasian Technological Platforms of the “First Congress of the ETP”, at which it is planned to discuss these projects, roadmaps and develop specific solutions to ensure their implementat
