1st International Conference on New Technologies for Developing Countries AFRICATEK 2017

From 27 to 29 March 2017 in g. Marrakech (Morocco) will host the 1st International Conference on New Technologies for Developing Countries AFRICATEK 2017.

The conference is focused on promoting new technologies (eg cloud technologies, IT, data analysis, green technologies, etc.) in developing countries. Creating innovative solutions and services based on advanced technologies is a daunting task in developing countries for several reasons. Limited IT infrastructure and low Internet availability are some of the key barriers.

The event was endorsed by the European Innovation Alliance, a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting ICT innovation.

All documents accepted at the conference will be submitted for publication in Springer and are available via the link to the SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world’s largest scientific libraries.

The conference will include a series of supporting workshops.

The aim of this conference is to bring together academics and practitioners from academia and industry to share results and ideas on how developing countries can benefit from technological progress despite existing constraints.
