Transformation and restoration of biological diversity of pine forests, cleared by forest felling

Field of application of the development: plantations of the pine forest formation of Belarus, requiring different types of felling

Brief essence of the development: for the first time for the conditions of Belarus in the pine formation of forests, the processes of succession of forest vegetation have been established in the age range from final felling to the formation of mature stands. It has been established that at the early stages of the formation of plantings and in medium-full ripe plantations, forest-edged species prevail in the cover, accounting for 41–44% of the total. The fourth part of the species composition is represented by forest-meadow species. Forest species dominate in high-density, middle-aged and ripening stands. They make up 41-54%

The main advantages of the development: work of this direction on the territory of the Republic of Belarus is being performed for the first time

The main technical characteristics of the development: to preserve, restore and reduce the negative impact of anthropogenic impact on the biological diversity of pine forests, proposed technological solutions to improve the available technological equipment, reflected in patents 10341 RB and 11781 RB

Comparison of the development with analogs: for the first time for the conditions of Belarus in the pine formation of forests, the processes of succession of forest vegetation were established in the age range from final felling to the formation of mature stands

Significance for the Republic of Belarus: socio-ecological significance, allowing to preserve the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the biological diversity of the living ground cover and other layers of vegetation in pine forests, to preserve the structure of forest stands

Commercial offer: the possibility of concluding agreements with enterprises for the design and implementation of forest felling activities, the establishment of demonstration facilities
