Sorbents based on modified natural materials for cleaning gaseous media
Scope: sorbents can be used to purify gas emissions from woodworking industrial enterprises from formaldehyde and ammonia
Brief essence of the development: sorbents are obtained on the basis of cellulose-containing materials (wood, cellulose, flax, fire) by treatment with phosphorylating solutions based on urea carbamide
Advantages: sorbents can be obtained from waste wood processing enterprises. They are characterized by low cost, ease of manufacture, renewable raw materials for their production, environmental safety
The development is protected by patents: patent 7747 RB “Method for cleaning gases from ammonia”, patent 2223812 RF “Method for cleaning gases from formaldehyde”
The main technical characteristics of the development: depending on the production method and the nature of the starting material, the sorption capacity for ammonia is 80-96 mg / g, for formaldehyde 160-180 mg / g
Comparison of the development with analogues: the known wood-based sorbents have significantly worse physicochemical characteristics. The main sorbent for the absorption of formaldehyde and ammonia is activated carbon
Significance for the Republic of Belarus: environmentally safe, cheap, waste sorbents are easily disposed of in the manufacture of chipboards
Economic indicators: the cost of sorbents is 5-6 times cheaper than activated carbons
Cooperation proposal: contract for the performance of works, field supervision
