Seminar-training "Innovations in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources"

The ener2i project, funded by the European Union, invites you to participate in the Training Workshop “Innovations in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy”, which will be held on October 15, 2014. within the framework of ENERGY EXPO – 2014 and XIX Belarusian Energy and Environmental Congress.

The congress and seminar will be held at the Victoria Hotel at the address: Minsk, pr. Winners, 59. Research institutes, universities, companies and especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as business support organizations and other interested parties involved in the field of renewable energy or energy efficiency from Belarus, the European Union, the Eastern Partnership countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and other countries.

The aim of the training seminar is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from the academic environment to the business community, as well as to support the commercialization of research results. Seminar topics include the following main areas:

– policies, driving forces and barriers to innovation;

– financing innovations in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources;

– social innovation in the energy sector;

– technological networks and “smart cities”;

– “green innovation”.

Working languages of the workshop: English, Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

ENERGY EXPO is the largest and most famous international energy event in the Republic of Belarus. It includes an exhibition and a congress, which, in turn, brings together several thematic conferences and seminars. In 2013, over 360 exhibitors from 18 countries and over 15,000 visitors took part in ENERGY EXPO. This year ENERGY EXPO-2014 will take place on October 14-17, 2014.
