Electrochemical antibacterial composite coatings Sn-Ni-TiO2

A technological process has been developed for obtaining composite electrochemical coatings based on a tin-nickel alloy containing TiO2 nanoparticles with antibacterial properties.
Achieved effect: T
in-nickel-titanium dioxide coatings have increased corrosion resistance (more than 200 hours in a salt fog chamber), microhardness, wear resistance, adhesion to a metal base, decorative appearance, high bactericidal activity (80-85%) in relation to the test crops with a short exposure time. The maximum bactericidal activity is observed against St. Aureus (85%). With an increase in the exposure time, the bactericidal activity of the coatings in
creases to 100%.
Areas of application: This coating can be used for public surfaces in public places: handrails, handles, turnstiles, etc .; for medical supplies; for food industry equipment; as a functional coating for soldering in the production of printed circuit boards.
