On September 1, 2016, a new project "Network of International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation with the Eastern Partnership – PLUS" (EaP PLUS) project was launched. EaP PLUS aims to promote cooperation between the Eastern Partnership (AP) and the European Union (EU) in science, technology and innovation and aims to enhance the participation of GPs in EU scientific programmes. The EaP PLUS project continues the previous projects "Network for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with Eastern Europe and Central Asia" (IncoNET EECA) and the Network for International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation with the Eastern Partnership (IncoNET EaP), which will provide a sustainable development of the efforts of both sides to further develop EU-G-EP cooperation at different levels and in the changed political environment. In this regard, the Belarusian Institute for Systems Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sector (Belisa), partner of the EaP PLUS project, informs about the opening of a competition for financial support for the participation of Belarusian scientists in brokerage activities in eu countries and countries associated with the Horizon 2020 (AS) program, as well as to participate in the meetings to prepare applications for participation in the Horizon 2020 competitions.

Support is provided for:

  • strengthen interactions between researchers from THE EU and EU;
  • to increase the recognition of Belarusian scientific organizations and knowledge-intensive companies, including small and medium-sized ones, in the EU/AU countries;
  • to facilitate the entry of partners from THE countries of the EUROPEAN countries into international consortiums to jointly apply for projects in EU-funded programmes and, first of all, in the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Science and Innovation.

Applications are accepted until June 30, 2017.
