The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Foundation for the Support of Education and Science (Alferov Foundation) announce the 2017 competition for the prizes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Alferov Foundation for Young Scientists (up to 35 years as of January 1 of the competition) for the best research work (separate scientific work or a set of topics of unified works) in the following areas (nominations):

  • Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics and Technology;
  • Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Agricultural Sciences and Earth Sciences;
  • humanities and social sciences.

The right to nominate for the award is granted:

  • Chairman of the Presidency of the National Academy of National Assembly of Belarus;
  • President of the Alfurov Foundation;
  • active members (academics), correspondent members and foreign members of the National Academy of Affairs of Belarus;
  • heads of the NATIONAL National Academy of Scientific Research organizations, whose subjects correspond to the field of scientific research (nomination);
  • Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research.

Documents for the competition are sent no later than October 31, 2017 with the tag "To the Alfurov Prize for Young Scientists 2017 in the field of Yu" at: 20072, Minsk, Independence Ave., 66, Kab. 317, department of awards, scholarships and awards of the General Directorate of Personnel and Personnel Policy of the National Academy of Personnel Administration of Belarus.
