EYP@EaP is a programme to support the use of computer network resources to strengthen international cooperation and accelerate research. The aim of the program is to encourage scientists in different fields to expand the boundaries of their research and to cooperate with other countries in conducting research using the resources of the scientific and educational network.

Researchers are invited to participate in the competition, regardless of discipline and level of competence. Developments in the fields of supercomputer computing, medical and bioinformatics, and cybersecurity are especially welcome. Eastern European partner countries include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

In addition to scientific developments, the possibility of cooperation in the field of music, art and education is now included.

Winners will be able to receive support and advice on the use of network services, as well as access to any network connections and resources provided by the EaPConnect program. The finalists of the competition will be invited to participate in the annual EaPEC 2018 conference in Chisinau, Moldova, where they will be able to present their project.

How to submit an initial design proposal?

The original proposal is to provide answers to the following questions:
1. What is the main purpose of your research
?2. Do you need to collaborate with researchers in other countries?
3. What technologies are you currently using?
4. What technologies do you expect to use in the next 1-2 years to support your research?

May 4, 2018: 1st round results alert; May-June
2018: consultations and interviews with Applicants; July 3,
2018: Final decision on applications received; 1 August 20
18: announcement of the results of the competitio
