The Geochemical Society has started applying for travel grants to participate in the Goldschmidt 2018 conference. Goldschmidt is the leading annual international conference on geochemistric and related disciplines organized by the Geochemical Society and the European Geochemisty Association. This year, the society has significantly increased funding to encourage the initiative of students and young professionals wishing to participate in the conference. In 2018, the Goldschmidt conference will be held between August 12 and 17 in Boston.

You can apply for a travel grant (Goldschmidt 2018 conference)

Students and young professionals from low- and middle-income gross national income (GNI) countries;

students from countries with above-average GNI (the Republic of Belarus is referred to this group) who have no other sources of funding;

By March 30, 2018, the applicant must submit the following set of documents:

  • Conference theses;
    Filled online application;
    Contact information (until April 20)

    ture of travel, accommodation, meals and registration; a bri
    ef essay (less than 250 words).
