The aim of the postdoctoral research support program is to develop the skills and research competences of young scientists, thereby contributing to the growth of scientific capacity and the number of qualified professionals.
Young doctors or PhDs are invited to participate in the program: from the moment a participant receives a doctorate or PhD until the end of the application period for participation in the program must take no more than 5 years.
The program includes:
– Conducting fundamental or industrial research; – Prote
cting intellectual property rights; – Trans
fer of knowledge and technolog
y; – Improving skills and competencies;
– International mobility and networking.
The project must meet the following conditions:
An application is submitted by a Latvian scientific organization or enterprise that establishes a working relationship with a postdoctoral researcher and provides access to the research infrastructure;
The project budget should not exceed 133,806 euros;
The project should not last more than 36 months.
