The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is the organizer of the annual Green Talents (International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development) competition, which aims to promote the international exchange of innovative green ideas. As a result of consideration of applications, 25 winners of the competition will be selected by the expert jury.

The winners will have the opportunity to attend the two-week Scientific Forum in October 2018, as well as the subjects of Germany's innovative infrastructure, meet with leading German scientists and get the opportunity to conduct research in Germany for 3 months (expenses are covered by the organizer).

Requirements for potential participants:

  • It is necessary to study under master's or postgraduate programs (master's / PhD program) or to have a master's or PhD degree for less than three years;
  • The research should focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach;
  • A well-documented good command of English.
  • High academic performance.
  • Do not be a German citizen or resident.

The deadline for applications is May 23, 2018.
