By decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of August 11, 2005 No. 367 "On improving the stimulation of creative work of young scientists" established 100 scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus talented young scientists working in organizations performing scientific research and development in the field of natural, technical, social and humanities. Scholarships are awarded for one calendar year in the amount set by the President of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of proposals of a specially created Inter-Services Commission.

1.Researchers who have achieved the best results in scientific, scientific, technical and innovation activities can participate in the competition: PhDs under the age of 45, PhDs – up to 35 years, scientists without a degree – up to 30 years on January 1, the year in which the nomination is carried out.

2.When nominating talented young scientists to participate in the competition, their achievements in the priority areas of fundamental and applied research, scientific, technical and innovative activities, and contribution to the socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus are taken into account.

3.Nominations are made by organizations at the main place of work of a talented young scientist, at a meeting of scientists or scientific and technical (scientist) council on the recommendation of the team of employees of the structural unit where he works.

4.Organizations that recommend nominations for scholarships submit applications for each of them, to which a package of documents is attached. The list of necessary documents is available on the website of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.

5.Documents for the competition for the appointment of scholarships for 2019 are submitted until July 1, 2018.
