The University of Geneva accepts applications for participation in the grant program, which aims to finance joint academic projects (Seed Funding Grants) between Switzerland and such countries as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Projects can have any scientific theme. The application for participation in the project must be filled out jointly by both partner parties who plan to receive funding for their project under the programme. The application is submitted online. The maximum grant is 10,000 Swiss francs (US$10,167).

The programme is being implemented by the University of Geneva, which is authorized by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation to coordinate cooperation in science and technology with these countries.

The deadline for grants is July 14, 2018.
