International research and production company "Nativita" has established an additional nomination "Biotechnology and Genomics in Medicine and Pharmaceuticals" in the ninth Republican competition of innovative projects.

The new nomination will feature projects focused on the production of biologically active substances by microorganisms, including genetic engineering (enzymes, amino acids, etc.), as well as projects in the field of cellular and subcellular technologies, genome editing technology. Developers of diagnostic test systems to assess the state of the genome, transcriptoma, proteome, as well as developers of tools for the above areas (analysis methods, bioinformatics software products – collection and analysis of Big Data) and others are invited to participate.

The competition considers promising projects with a detailed implementation strategy (commercialization) and relevant priority areas of scientific and technical activity in Belarus. Documents for participation are accepted until September 15 (details on the contest's website: http://konkurs.bif.ac.by).
