DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXPERIMENTAL TECHNOLOGY FOR HARDENING METAL-WORKING AND WOOD-CUTTING TOOLS WITH COMBINED ION-PLASMA AND GALVANIC TREATMENT

Description of the project: Improving the operational characteristics and service life of tools due to the formation of gradient combined vacuum-arc and composite electrochemical coatings on the cutting elements of tools in machine-tool building, mechanical engineering, woodworking industry.

Advantages: The use of the modified tool allows to increase the following indicators: the period of the modified tool durability up to 200% when cutting coniferous wood, particle board; service life of modified tools up to 400% in metalworking; utilization rate of machine time up to 50%; cutting performance up to 20%.
