SOLVENT FOR ISOLATION OF PARAFFINS FROM PETROLEUM Raffinates

Description of the project: The use of a new solvent in the process of extractive crystallization increases the selectivity of separating the raffinate into base oil and slag; at the same time, the loss of slack oil is reduced; the quality of the gacha increases.

The main technical characteristics of the proposed development: the use of a new solvent does not require changes in the dewaxing technology.

Using a new solvent will allow:

  • reduce slack oil loss;
  • improve the quality of slacks;
  • to improve the quality of raw materials from which paraffin is isolated.

Advantages: The yield of dewaxed oil increases; slack contains more normal paraffins and less oil.
