WOODWORKING MILL WITH VARIABLE ANGLES OF CUTTING

Description of the project and advantages: The tool allows to obtain a milled surface with a processing quality in the range of 1.6 ÷ 400 microns. Increased tool life up to 35%, reduction of cutting power up to 30% is ensured by the possibility of stepless change of the edge angle from 0º to 90º and the back (rake) angle from 0º to 20º in comparison with the existing tool used in production.

Results achieved: Research is underway to determine the rational modes of operation of the new tool and improve its design.
