Acceptance of applications for the Baltic Region Interregional Program

From March 1, 2016 starts accepting applications for the Interreg Baltic Sea Region program. This program is aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the region. Partner organizations from the Baltic states work together in international projects to find common opportunities for growth and responses to common challenges of our time.

The program is funded by the EU; the main recipients of funding are government agencies, research and educational organizations, NGOs, agencies and associations, as well as industrial enterprises.

The program offers financial support for transnational projects in the following priority areas:

1. Innovation potential,

2. Natural resource management,

3. Green transport.

Applications will be accepted in two stages:

The first stage will last from March 1 to June 1, 2016, after which in September 2016. selection of applications is made.

The second stage of accepting applications will last from September 2016. to January 2017 In May 2017 projects will be selected for funding.

The schedule may undergo some changes depending on the volume of applications received.

Before submitting an application, you must familiarize yourself with the list of projects previously financed by the program, since re-financing will not be made. A list of projects and all the necessary information can be found at the following link.
