A rapid test has been developed that can determine a blood group in 30 seconds
Chinese researchers from the Third Military Medical University have proposed an alternative: an express test in the form of a small piece of paper divided into three conditional zones. A sample is placed in the center, a drop of the patient’s blood. After about 30 seconds, one of the A or B cells turns green, suggesting that this is the person’s blood type. The second cell turns red. The test results are displayed in the most common AB0 system, developed by Karl Landsteiner back in 1900. The new expre
ss test has already been tested in practice. 3550 samples of human blood passed through it and the number of correct answers is 99.9%, which is just an excellent result. Chinese scientists argue that the test may enter the arsenal of doctors in the next 1-2 years. Many organizations have already become interested in the test, because in the field, and especially in those places where wars are waged, it can really save many lives.Source: https: //hi-news.ru
