Purpose / scope: Assessment of fire hazard of forest lands and resource assessment of damaged forest plantations.

Main characteristics / technical and economic advantages: Use of multispectral satellite imagery to identify forest plantations damaged by windblows, windbreaks and fires, as well as to assess the availability and quality of forest combustible materials to determine the fire hazard.
