At the "Eurasian week" in Skolkovo announced a digital declaration

On October 27, following the results of the conference “Digital Agenda in the EAEU” held in Skolkovo as part of the international exhibition forum “Eurasian Week”, the participants of the event announced the adoption of the Declaration. It recognizes the importance of creating a digital space for the Union, taking into account the opportunities and risks of implementing the digital agenda.

The declaration expresses confidence that the development of the EAEU digital space will contribute to improving management efficiency, creating innovative jobs and digital assets, expanding opportunities for citizens, businesses and government bodies, simplifying access to global markets and increasing the competitiveness of economic entities, building a seamless economic space, improving the quality of state and non-state services provided to the citizens of the Union. The declaration is a statement on the need to form a digital space, which will be passed on to the heads of the EAEU states. Many participants of the Eurasian Week voted in support of the digital declaration, putting signatures on an interactive screen with its text. Open online voting continues in electronic form on the official website of the “Eurasian week”. The conference participants asked the leaders of the EAEU countries to adopt a digital declaration of the EAEU based on their proposals
