The applications for participation in the National Contest of Innovative Projects 2018 are accepted!

The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the public association “Belarusian Republican Youth Unity” and other interested organizations will hold the 9th National Contest of Innovative Projects in 2018.

The contest will be held with the purpose of the stimulation of implementation of promising innovative projects, the assistance in the search of the investment support of the innovative projects and the commercialization of the results of the research and developments. 

The nominations of the contest are  “Best Innovative Project” and “Best Youth Innovative Project”.

Prospective innovation projects  with a detailed strategy of implementation (commercialization) and corresponding to the priority areas of scientific and technical activities in Belarus are considered within the contest.

Legal entities and individuals can be participants of the contest. The participants will decide themselves, which nomination their innovation project is related to.

Only the individuals up to 35 can participate in the nomination “Best Youth Innovative project”. 

The stages of the contest: 

1. The acceptance of applications and the preliminary selection of projects, by September 15, 2018.
2. The expertise of innovation projects, by November 1, 2018.
3. Determination of winners and prizewinners of the contest, by December 2018.

The contest board will determine the winners and prize-winners of the contest on the basis of the results of consideration and protection of innovative projects. There is one winner and five prize-takers in each nomination, two of them are runners-up and three are on the third place. 

Winners and prize-takers of the contest are awarded diplomas and prizes:

1st category 60 tariff rates (1,980 rubles) for the first place;
1st category 40 tariff rates (1,320 rubles) for the second place;
1st category 20 tariff rates (660 rubles) for the third place.

The contest board selects projects for further commercialization of their results among the winners and prize-winners, which will receive a certificate in the amount of 400 tariff rates (13,200 rubles).

The contest is organized by the Belarusian Innovation Fund. To participate in the contest it is necessary to pass an obligatory registration on the website of the contest by filling in the forms set by the organizers (an application, a passport and a business plan of the innovative project) and send a set of competitive documents to the Belarusian Innovation Fund (in person or by mail):, 31 A Khoruzhei str., room 403, Minsk, 220002.
