On March 28, the Belarusian State University of Technology hosted a scientific and practical seminar on “Reducing the pollution of revolving and wastewater and improving environmental safety. Cleaning facilities.”
The seminar was organized and conducted as part of a joint project with the Estonian company Addenda EO aimed at solving the environmental problem of convolving and wastewater pollution in the enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
The event was opened by Oleg Borisushkin, Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Work of BGTU, emphasizing the importance of holding such seminars for today with increasing attention to the protection of natural and, in particular, water resources due to the difficult situation developing on them all over the world.
The seminar discussed wastewater treatment, technological principles for reducing pollution, and ways to improve treatment efficiency.
The event was attended by representatives of Bellesbumprom, pulp and paper and woodworking industries, faculty and students of BGTU.
The university’s scientists presented technological developments on the seminar.
Such seminars draw attention to the need to solve environmental problems, promote the organization of a constructive dialogue between enterprises and scientists, helping to combine the practical and scientific component, form a culture of environmentally oriented approach among future specialists of specialized enterprises.
