TECHNIQUE FOR ACCELERATED FATIGUE TESTS OF METAL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION

Description of the project: The method of accelerated fatigue testing of metallic materials differs from traditional low-frequency methods by using high loading frequencies (18 kHz) to determine the low-frequency fatigue characteristics of metallic materials.

Allows you to determine the characteristics of fatigue (fatigue limits, fatigue curves corresponding to 50% probability of failure, an estimate of the mean value and standard deviation of the fatigue limit) of metallic materials.

Benefits:

– provides a reduction in the time for studying the characteristics of fatigue of metallic materials up to 10-15 times by reducing the time of loading the samples without reducing the accuracy of the prediction;

– reduction of labor and energy consumption for research of fatigue characteristics of metallic materials is ensured.
