TECHNOLOGY FOR OBTAINING PIGMENTS FROM IRON-CONTAINING PRODUCTION WASTE
Description of the project: A method for obtaining iron oxide pigments from iron-containing sludge of water treatment has been developed and experimentally tested. The physicochemical properties of the resulting pigment have been determined. A comparative assessment of the quality of brick-red iron oxide pigment with the well-known red lead iron of grade G, manufactured in industry, has been carried out. A technological scheme has been proposed for practical implementation, which makes it possible to obtain high-quality iron oxide pigments with different color characteristics for use in the construction industry.
