OPTIMIZATION OF TOMATO FEEDING ON MINERAL SUBSTRATES
Description of the project: A feeding system has been developed for tomatoes cultivated according to resource-saving low-volume technology on substrates of mineral bulk materials: perlite, aggloporite, expanded clay in pure form and composite material. / Recommended for implementation in modern greenhouse plants when growing tomatoes in low-volume culture.
Advantages: Substrates from mineral building materials and a tomato nutrition system have been developed, which provides for the differentiation of the composition of nutrient solutions and irrigation doses depending on the type of mineral substrates, which ensures an increase in yield and quality of fruits, saving costs for mineral fertilizers and ensures the environmental safety of the technology. It is more economically profitable to use modified expanded clay or perlite, providing an annual profit of 42.7 and 39.7 thous. Doll. US / ha of greenhouses, which is almost double that of the commonly used mineral wool substrate.
