SUPERHARD COMPOSITES BASED ON NANOCARBON OF THE C-Me, C-B-Me SYSTEMS
Description of the project: Synthesis of nanostructured composites for instrumental purposes is carried out by sintering a mixture of starting powder materials under high pressure. High pressures change the thermodynamic parameters of the interaction of components, which leads to the formation of both equilibrium and nonequilibrium phases. The formation of nonequilibrium phases at high pressures leads to their refinement to a nanostate, which is enhanced by deformation effects. This technology allows changing the structure of the formed material in a wide range, combining high hardness and wear resistance. This allows you to create fundamentally new materials with unique properties.
Benefits:
Materials with high properties were obtained without the use of expensive fullerenes (arc fullerene-containing soot, fullerene black and multi-walled nanotubes), which makes them promising for industrial development.
Achieved results:
Prototypes of composites C-Me, C-B-Me.
