CHEMICAL ADDITIVE FOR SURFACE TREATMENT OF CONCRETE AERODROME RUNWAYS
Description of the project: A complex action chemical additive intended for surface treatment of concrete runways of airfields. It is a modified aqueous solution of magnesium hexafluorosilicate with the required concentration, which provides clogging of pores in concrete.
Benefits:
The composition, being an inorganic product (as well as neoplasms in the pores of concrete), is highly stable. Consequently, in contrast to analogues, which are based, as a rule, on organic substances prone to destruction, this composition provides guaranteed durability of concrete. Treatment of concrete with the developed composition increases the frost resistance of concrete by 2 marks, compressive strength by at least 25%, reduces water absorption by 8-10% and capillary saturation by 35-40%.
The developed chemical preparation has an original composition, is, in its intended purpose, an analogue of the Burke-O-Lith composition by Burke (USA), which has been successfully used for many years all over the world.
Achieved results:
The composition has been developed, pilot tests have been carried out. Industrial production has been established.
