Invitation to participate in the TNC16 conference June 12-16, 2016, Prague, Czech Republic

June 12-16, 2016 The TNC16 Networking Conference organized by the Czech National Research and Education Network (CESNET) will take place in Prague, Czech Republic. The topic of the TNC16 Conference is “Building the internet of people”.

Conference TNC16 is the largest and most prestigious European conference for research networks, bringing together leaders, managers, specialists, experts and representatives of research and industrial organizations, universities. More than 650 participants take part in the Conference annually.

Expert speeches, various parallel sessions and presentations during the conference will provide attendees with a unique overview of the latest advances in research networks, both in technical and implementation and management fields.

TNC16 will include exhibition space where conference sponsors and project representatives will have the opportunity to showcase their latest products and services. TNC16 will host an exhibition of posters and poster presentations. Based on the results of previous years, the positive influence of this exhibition on the company’s advertising and the establishment of new contacts was noted.

In addition, GÉANT invites students of all disciplines to take part in a competition related to the theme of the Conference “Building the internet of people”. The key question of the competition is formulated as follows: “How would you improve the internet of people?” Contestants must submit a 3 minute video with their ideas. The finalists of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the Conference free of charge and demonstrate their ideas during a plenary session in front of a group of experts. The winner of the competition will be awarded the 2016 Best New Idea Award at an official ceremony at the TNC16 Conference.
