Belarus and the Republic of Korea discuss prospects for cooperation in high-tech industries
The Belarusian delegation led by the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology Alexander Shumilin is on a visit to Seoul (Republic of Korea), where the second meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Korean Working Group on Science and Technology is planned. The visit program also provides for meetings and negotiations with the Minister of Science, ICT and Advanced Planning of the Republic of Korea, the leadership of scientific and innovative organizations (Samsung Electronics, the Institute for the Promotion of Science and Technology, the Korea Institute for Energy Research, the National Research Foundation, the Korea Institute for Advanced Scientific Research and Technology , Pangge Technopark, Korean Academy of Science and Technology, Dongsung Pharm, Korea Importers Association, Hanwha Corporation, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information). During the events, issues of improving bilateral relations, holding joint scientific and technical events, mutual transfer of technologies and supplies of Belarusian high-tech products to the Republic of Korea will be discussed. In particular, it is planned to discuss the supply of medicines, medical equipment, microelectronics, Belarusian equipment for scientific organizations, non-destructive testing devices, polymers for 3D printing, dosimetric control devices for nuclear power facilities to the Republic of Korea.
Following the visit, it is planned to sign a number of protocols and contracts for the implementation of scientific, technical and innovative projects and the supply of science-intensiv
