Borosilicated cogwheel
Purpose: application of hardened gear wheels in transmissions of forestry vehicles operating under high dynamic loading
Brief characteristic: gears, hardened according to the developed saturation composition (borosiliconization), have increased surface hardness (up to 1500 HV) and low micro-fragility, which significantly increases their durability
Advantages: the developed hardening process provides a 1.4-2.3 times increase in comparison with cementation of the service life of hardened gears due to a decrease in their wear and fatigue contact damage
